Soyjak Forum, also known as the Shroom, is a XenForo-based forum and blogging site that serves as the de facto, yet unofficial, successor to soyjak.blog (also known as the Schlog). The forum was founded on April 20, 2025 by the Schlog's old mod/janny team and several prominent Schlog namefags after the original Schlog got sold to new owners. As a Schlog splinter, this website has much of the same culture and is still hated by most soyteens for being a namefagged pseudo-Discord server. It is, however, still not considered disruptive by Quote. Many of its users are minors or brown as they are refugees from the Brownocaust and 1/28.

The forum was founded after the sale announcement which was spurred by Froot's unwillingness to host the forum, as its quality was poor, with new incidents every other month (this time it was two namefags getting kissy kissy and edating through the forum).

History

Slopjak

The site was created by Shroot, who was the schlog user and janny SmallAnus. He would decide to build his own forum website as a fun project and to use as his guinea pig to try to develop anti-DDOS protection. The day before the opening, he partnered up with Doll as Nagolbud backed out from making Doll's own splinter thanks to him being a schizophrenic felon who lives in the Mexican woods. The site was opened on April 20, 2025, and thanks to the bunker chat and Doll helping migrate the users over to there with his Telegram channel, it received a large influx of users on its first day.

The news of the Shroom opening led to Froot briefly treating it as disruptive and banning anyone who ever mentioned it. Froot claimed he wouldn't have to do anything and that it would only last a week. Despite Froot's antics, the Shroom had cordial relations with Quote and Frootcord, especially thanks to Doll. However, Froot then decided to take his 11XMR in funny money and kick it so he was out of the picture.

Following the Great Handover, Quote became the new owner of the Party; and due to Quote's good relationship with the Shroom and its administration, the site was free to focus on its own ventures without the risk of the Party's administration getting in the way. More development was on the way for the Shroom

Takedown

The original site domain went down after a couple of hours of being online due to a foodist reportfagging it and the domain registrar being a tranny antifa one (Never use Njalla when setting up a website if you plan on having any content edgier then kitty-cat videos).

Warrior-Z scuffle

Thanks to a thread about a 3D printed Warrior-Z lamp going viral on the Shroom and some shitflinging done at Z's expense on the booru, he decided to delete all pro-shroom posts on the Booru. This caused Shroot to change the logo to "Warrior-P Forum" because of leakage for a few hours.

Handover

On the 20th of December 2025, the host, Shroot, decided that he's going to retire from being the owner of the Shroom, saying that he had a bunch of other problems to take care of and also because of the SoyBooru Crisis, he was going to give it to Broot but he declined so he gave it to Catter.

March 2026 takedown

In late March 2026, they got taken down due to a false CP report. The host of the site would go on to blame Broot along with accusing him for DDOSing and "leaking IPs".

Controversy

Edit wars

This site was in a constant useless nigger war with its now-defunct neighbor, the NuSchlog, with much social engineering occurring on this very page. Both shroomcucks and schlogcucks would shit up the recent changes of this very 'ki until a radical approach was taken to the edit warring and trickery. After the NuSchlog's death, the Shroom would remain the only meaningfully used soyjak-themed forum (despite being outside of the official soysphere and outside Quote's ownership) until SoyBooru's Nuuru UI update which saw the creation of SoyBooru's in-website forum, also known as the Boorum. The Shroom's future now hangs in the balance.

Culture

The website has been criticized for everything the Schlog suffered from, such as namefag drama, e-dating, and SNCA. In its later years, the website's community has come to be labeled by some as a circlejerk due to its insular culture and the tendency of its moderators and admins to ban users they dislike or users who go against public opinion, with one instance where Doll performed a mass purge of anyone even tangentially related to irc.soyjak.st. Most of these fraudulent bans are later overturned by Catter, but the website continues to suffer from a lack of new users.

In addition, most of the website's activity centered around SoyBooru since many namefags there would use its Community Watch section as a venue to discuss their site, but the opening of the Boorum meant that users would instead use the official forum, which has robbed the Shroom of most of its PPH.

Boorum drama

The site and its users turned on Broot after he left his position as an admin on the Shroom to become a Boorum forum administrator, with the site's host even putting up notices featuring him.
